Race for the Golden Boot 2014: End of Group Play

This is revised scorers' sheet in light of the end of group play. I also removed Suarez, who had been banned. I will continue to pare out players who are not currently leading if their team goes out of the tournament.
I have also become aware of the tie-breaker rule that if players come out even on goals, assists are counted so I have included assist totals for anyone with the goals or more.
This messes with things a bit, because only Müller has an assist of all those with four goals so he jumps back to the lead. Benzema and Rodríguez jump to the lead of those with three goals because they each have two assists, which means either of them would go directly into the lead if they scored goal first, which could well happen for Rodríguez if Neymar falls to score in their opener, because Uruguay will undoubtedly be struggling due to the suspension of Suarez. Müller is still on form to take back his place should he lose it and Messi will probably need to continue to score like a madman if Argentina is to continue. That's all I have.

Kwadwo Asamoah, running down the end of the box, put in a cross with the outside of his left foot that struck Asamoah Gyan for the header at the far post. This beauty gives Gyan the most World Cup goals ever for an African and two this World Cup.

The Germans took a short corner, that went back to Klose who put in a cross that Mertesacker headed toward goal, Howard making a great saving punch of a clearance, but it fell to Thomas Müller, who bent it through a number of defenders and past the scrambling Howard.

Javier Mascherano put a long ball into Ángel di María in the box and he ran one v. one to the post and put it toward the near corner, but the keeper pushed it so that it smashed it off the post. It bounced out into space at the edge of the eight yard box to the feet of Lionel Messi, who launched it into the roof netting.
This is Messi's third goal of the tournament. It also makes him the second player to score in all three matches of the group stage.
