Javier Mascherano put a long ball into Ángel di María in the box and he ran one v. one to the post and put it toward the near corner, but the keeper pushed it so that it smashed it off the post. It bounced out into space at the edge of the eight yard box to the feet of Lionel Messi, who launched it into the roof netting.
This is Messi's third goal of the tournament. It also makes him the second player to score in all three matches of the group stage.
