Djourou gave away a silly penalty to Karim Benzema, which he failed to capitalize on and what's worse that Cabaye put back off the crossbar.
The Swiss also had chances, not least a goal that I was utterly ready to see count, called off at the last.
Benzema failed to catch up, so far with the leaders in the golden boot chase but three of his countrymen have now made the list and it stands this way now:
